This training introduces workers to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety. Everyone in the workplace, from the employer to the newest worker, has different but important duties to keep the workplace safe. We provide the basic safety training so that our employees are safe at work everyday.
We are ALL responsible – employers, supervisors and workers – for preventing workplace illness and injury. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System regulation generally requires suppliers and employers to identify hazardous materials, instruct/train their workers of proper use, handling and appropriate emergency response. It is our responsibility to make sure that the employee being sent to you is well aware of the hazardous compounds at the work facility so that accidents can be prevented. We provide the training needed to put safety and prevention first.
